At Gudee, we believe home should be a place of calm, comfort, and connection with nature.
We create thoughtful objects that bring natural materials, purposeful function, and a sense of calm into the modern home.
Rather than adding unnecessary decoration, we focus on the balance of materials, proportions, and form — creating objects that feel naturally at home in everyday spaces.

Our approach to design is guided by four values:
Simplicity
We believe simplicity is not about having less, but about knowing what truly matters.
By removing what is unnecessary, we create clearer forms and more intuitive functions, allowing each object to respond to everyday needs in a simple and natural way.
Sincerity
We believe sincerity begins with staying true to what we believe in and understanding how people really live.
Design does not need to please everyone or hide behind unnecessary decoration. Materials, form, and function should work together honestly, responding to genuine everyday needs.
This sincerity also extends to the relationships we build with the people who use our products and the partners we work with.
Sustainability
We consider sustainability from the materials we choose.
Bamboo grows rapidly, reaching maturity in around four years, and has long been one of the natural materials at the heart of Gudee.
We also consider the impact of materials, processes, and product life cycles, seeking a thoughtful balance between function, aesthetics, and the use of resources.
Subtlety
We believe the most thoughtful details do not always need to be immediately visible. They are often discovered gradually through use.
We integrate considered functionality into simple forms, paying close attention to texture, color, proportion, finishing, and the way different materials meet.
Each understated detail is designed to make an object feel more natural to use while bringing a sense of calm and ease to the space around it.
Nature at the Heart of Our Design
Bamboo has been part of Gudee’s design language from the beginning.
We value its natural warmth, lightness, and structural qualities, as well as the character it develops through time and use.
By combining bamboo with fabric, metal, and other complementary materials, we explore a balance between softness and structure, nature and function.
For us, materials are more than what an object is made of.
They are part of the design itself.
Thoughtful Objects for Everyday Life
Our design begins with everyday life.
Putting on shoes, preparing a meal, organizing a desk, doing the laundry, or simply putting away the things we use every day — these ordinary moments are often the ones most worth thinking about.
That is why we consider not only how an object looks, but also how it is held, moved, stored, folded, and used across different spaces.
We want to create objects that fit naturally into everyday life.
Not asking people to adapt their lives to design, but allowing design to adapt to the way people live.
Not made to impress, but made to belong.
