ORSON Tape Dispenser

An everyday essential, shaped with simplicity.

ORSON reinterprets a familiar desk essential through the natural warmth of bamboo and refined metal details.

A single heat-pressed bamboo strip curves into a compact U-shaped body, creating the main structure with one simple, continuous form. At its center, a bamboo spindle holds the tape roll in place, secured by a metal end cap.

Replacing the tape is straightforward: simply unscrew the metal end cap, insert a new roll, and screw it back into place. The metal component also adds a subtle sense of weight while introducing the material contrast shared across the ORSON collection—aluminum alloy with Natural bamboo, and solid brass with Brown bamboo.

A ceramic blade completes the design. Selected to complement the bamboo while offering the practical advantage of being rust-resistant, it replaces the conventional metal cutting blade with a material better suited to ORSON’s design language.

From the flowing curve of heat-pressed bamboo to the thoughtful combination of bamboo and metal, ORSON turns a small everyday tool into a natural part of the workspace.
