GROTA brings privacy, organization, and everyday function together in a freestanding screen designed to create a more personal space within the room.
Its large circular frame is crafted from heat-pressed bamboo and divided into three hinged panels. When opened, the panels form a subtle S-shaped arrangement when viewed from above, allowing the screen to stand on its own without a separate base. From the front, the three sections come together visually as one continuous circular form.
The screen comes with four removable accessories: a bamboo-framed fabric tray, a bamboo-framed fabric basket, an adjustable mirror, and a bamboo rail with four metal hooks. Each accessory hangs directly onto the screen and can be removed and repositioned to suit different routines and spaces.
The mirror can also be tilted vertically to adjust the viewing angle, while the tray, basket, and hooks provide convenient places for everyday belongings. Together, they turn the screen from a simple room divider into a flexible space for getting ready, organizing, and keeping personal essentials close at hand.
The three panels are already connected by hinges, so no assembly is required. Simply unfold and position them at a slight angle for use, then fold the screen closed when it needs to be stored away.
